Abstract
The catheter 11A comprises a tubular inner layer 100, a coil body 110 as a reinforcement body wound around the outer periphery of the inner layer 100, a protective layer 120 covering the outer periphery of an end of the coil body 110 and an outer layer 130 covering at least the outer periphery of the protective layer 120, wherein the protective layer 120 covers at least the outer periphery of the distal end part of the coil body 110, and the wire 110a of the coil body 110 covered with the protective layer 120 is buried deeper in the side of the inner layer 100 relative to the wire 110a of the coil body 110 not covered with protective layer 120.
