Abstract

A drive system (100) includes an actuator (130), a waveform generating unit (110), a driving amplifier (121, 123), and a bias amplifier (122, 124). The actuator (130) includes a drive unit. The waveform generating unit (110) generates a voltage waveform for driving the drive unit. The driving amplifier (121, 123) amplifies the voltage waveform so as to apply a voltage to the drive unit. The bias amplifier (122, 124) applies a bias voltage to the drive unit. The driving amplifier (121; 123) and the bias amplifier (122; 124) are coupled to a shared power supply and the ground. The output voltage of the bias amplifier (124) is higher than the minimum output voltage of the driving amplifier (123).
