Abstract

The present invention relates to a valve element (9) of a valve arrangement (7) for the flow regulation of a gas in a ventilation arrangement (2), in particular of a motor vehicle (1), wherein the valve element is produced by a casting method. It is essential to the invention here that a surface (10) of the valve element (9) has a sound-reducing structure (11), produced by the casting method, with a plurality of sound reduction elements (12), which protrude from the surface (10). The invention furthermore relates to a valve arrangement (7) with such a valve element (9), and a ventilation arrangement (2), in particular an air-conditioning arrangement (6), with such a valve arrangement (7). The invention further relates to a method for the production of such a valve element (7), in which a casting mould (18) comes into use. The invention further relates to such a casting mould (18).
