Abstract

A door assembly, particularly for doors of passenger aircraft, includes a door having a door body and a door load bearing beam mounted along the side face of the door body, a door jamb, a door stop rail (6) connected to the door load bearing beam, the door stop rail projecting outwardly towards the door jamb, and a door jamb stop rail (16) connected to the door jamb, the door jamb stop rail (16) projecting inwardly towards the door body. The door stop rail (6) and door jamb stop rail (16) each have a rail body (8, 18) and a toothed protrusion structure of bearing lugs (9, 19) connected to the rail body (8, 18).
