Abstract
A first automatic winder (10) includes a plurality of first winder units (11), a first doffing cart (13), a first controlling section (18), and a first communicating section (16). The first winder units (11) are arranged side by side along the X direction. The first doffing cart (13) is travelable along the X direction, and performs doffing in the first winder unit (11). The first controlling section (18) controls traveling of the first doffing cart (13). The first communicating section (16) performs communication with a second automatic winder (20) that is adjacent in the Y direction, and acquires adjacent device information related to an operating state and / or surrounding conditions of the second automatic winder (20). The first controlling section (18) controls the traveling of the first doffing cart (13) based on the adjacent device information acquired by the first communicating section (16).
