Abstract

Wall plug-like insert (12), having a head (20) and a stem (22) extending in a longitudinal direction (11) from the head (20), wherein the stem (22) is designed to be introduced into an opening (14) in a component (16), such as a metal sheet, with the result that the head (20) is arranged on a component upper side (18) of the component (16), and wherein a sealing element (30) is arranged on the head (20), said sealing element being designed to establish a seal, surrounding the stem (22), between the head (20) and the component upper side (18) of the component (16). In this case, the sealing element is produced from a thermoplastic elastomer or from a crosslinked rubber material.
