According to examples, a power equipment (100) may include a base member (110), a drive shaft (220) to drive a cutting chain (114) over a chain bar (112), and an oil tank (120) mounted to the base member (110). A first portion (202) of an oil pump (200), an inlet hose (206), and an outlet hose (122) may be housed within the oil tank (120), in which the inlet hose (206) may supply oil contained in the oil tank (120) to the first portion (202) of the oil pump (200) and the outlet hose (122) may supply oil from the first portion (202) of the oil pump (200) to the cutting chain (114). By housing the first portion (202) of the oil pump (200), the inlet hose (206), and the outlet hose (122) within the oil tank (120), the size of a cutting head (102) of the power equipment (100) may significantly be reduced while also reducing the likelihood of the cutting head (102) snagging objects, such as tree limbs or branches.

An outdoor power equipment having sitting configuration and standing configuration is presented herein. The outdoor power equipment can be transformed from the sitting configuration to the standing configuration and vice versa, allowing an operator to use the outdoor power equipment in either a sitting position or standing position. Transformation of the outdoor power equipment can comprise transition of one or more components from associated sitting position(s) to associated standing position(s), such as operator controls, a rollover protection (ROP) bar, power equipment controls, seat back, etc.

An outdoor power equipment system includes: a motor; a power supply; and a user-engageable safety device, the safety device comprising: a rotatable member connected to a handle of the outdoor power equipment, wherein the rotatable member is configured to rotate about a rotation axis between a locked position and an unlocked position; a plunger operatively connected to the rotatable member such that rotation of the rotatable member causes the plunger to translate along the rotation axis of the rotatable member; and a switch, wherein: the plunger is configured to open the switch when the rotatable member is in the locked position to electrically connect the power supply to the motor, and wherein the plunger is configured to close the switch when the rotatable member is in the unlocked position to electrically isolate the power supply from the motor.

An air blowing apparatus has a primary fan housing, primary air fan and primary output combined with a secondary fan housing, secondary air fan and secondary output generating multiple airflows with distinct fluid dynamic characteristics. The primary air fan and secondary air fan can be powered by any suitable prime mover, including an electric motor, a pneumatic motor, a hydraulic motor, a combustion engine, and others. The secondary housing, fan and output can generate a secondary airflow having a different fluid dynamic characteristic than provided by the primary housing, fan and output. In aspects of the disclosed embodiments, the secondary airflow can have a relatively high air speed, and the primary airflow can have a relatively high air volume.

A power tool includes a head interface coupled to a forward end of an output shaft and a tool head element for engagement on the head interface. The tool head element has a housing including an input shaft configured to removably couple with the output shaft and a collar comprising locking elements. In embodiments, locking elements are biased inwardly towards the input shaft by biasing elements (springs). In others, magnet(s) and/or ball locking elements may be utilized. Upon attachment of the tool head element to the head interface, the tool head element may held by the provided elements (e.g., locking elements, biasing springs, magnets, balls) onto the head interface and a drive connection between the output shaft and input shaft is established. Thus, when a motor and transmission assembly of the tool is operated, the input shaft rotates with the output shaft about the axis and thus drives the tool head element.

A portable electric pressing tool comprising: an electric motor; a pressing mechanism having a pair of jaws and a driver wherein the pressing mechanism is operatively coupled to the electric motor for causing axial displacement of the driver between a home position and an active position for actuating the jaws; a home position sensor for generating output indicative that the driver has reached the home position during a reset stage of operation in which the driver is moved towards the home position; and a controller for receiving motor turn information indicative of the number of turns of the electric motor and for controlling axial movement of the driver in use based only on the motor turn information and the output generated by the home position sensor.

An electric motor includes a motor housing and a shaft that extends in a longitudinal direction through a length of the motor housing. A first motor is disposed within the motor housing and mounted to the shaft, and a second motor is disposed within the motor housing and mounted to the shaft. The electric motor includes an adaptor disposed within the motor housing, and a portion of the first motor and a portion of the second motor are disposed within the adaptor. The adaptor supports and pilots the first motor and the second motor. At least one motor controller is disposed on the adaptor and within the motor housing, and is electrically connected to the first motor and to the second motor.

A spine for a harness system may include an inner plate having a set of locking notches arranged along a first direction and a rail extending in the first direction. The spine may also include an outer plate having a channel and a hinged locking element having a tab to selectively engage the set of locking notches. The length of the spine may be varied by varying the locking notch into which the tab of the hinged locking element is engaged. By varying the length of the spine, the distance between a shoulder member and a belt member of the harness system may be changed.

A tool holder for storing and organizing tools such as hexagonal ("hex") wrenches. The tool holder has first and second modules each having at least one tool cavity configured to receive and hold tools in place until a user applies pressure to remove the tools. A position-control mechanism is located at an interface between the modules, the position-control mechanism including a protrusion on a side of one module that is disposed in a mating cavity in a side of the other module, where the mating cavity is shaped such that the protrusion may move within the mating cavity, allowing the a module to rotate independently from the other module.

Provided is a gearbox for an actively driven caster wheel system, comprising: a housing defining a set of operational surfaces which is its own mirror image, has an input shaft aperture, and has an output shaft aperture; and a transmission engaged with the operational surfaces. The transmission has an input shaft assembly and an output shaft assembly. The input shaft assembly has an input shaft, a set of input shaft bearings, and an input gear. The output shaft assembly has an output shaft, a set of output shaft bearings, and an output gear. The input shaft assembly is installed in the input shaft aperture with the input gear adapted to rotate. The output shaft assembly is installed in the output shaft aperture such that the output gear is adapted to rotate. The input gear is engaged with the output gear such that work is transmitted during operation.
