Abstract
The present invention relates to a luminaire (1) comprising at least one LED module (2), and a housing (3) enclosing the LED module (2). The housing (3) comprises as optical housing areas (30-32) a reflection area (30) opposite to and facing the LED module (2), a first light emitting area (31) for emitting direct light of the LED module (2), and a second light emitting area (32) for emitting light of the LED module (2) being reflected by the reflection area (30), wherein the second light emitting area (32) is opposite to the reflection area (30).
