Abstract
The present disclosure generally relates to methods for additive manufacturing (AM) that utilize support structure (210, 610) in the process of building objects (200, 600) that may be removed by rotating the support structure (210, 610) to a second orientation before removal, as well as novel support structures (210, 610) to be used within these AM processes. The support structures (210, 610) are fabricated in a first orientation and then rotated to the second orientation. The support structures (210, 610) are removed by passing through an outlet (224) of the object.
