Abstract

Disclosed is a lens barrel which comprises a lens holding member (3) and a barrel body (2) supporting the lens holding member (3), wherein one of them comprises a plurality of positioning protrusions (322, 323) for positioning the lens holding member (3) with respect to the barrel body (2) in an orthogonal-to-optical axis direction, and the remaining one of them comprises a plurality of protrusion receiving holes (275, 276) each receiving therein a respective one of the positioning protrusions (322, 323), wherein the protrusion receiving holes include at least one elongate-shaped receiving hole (275) formed to extend in given one direction so as to displaceably receive therein a corresponding one (322) of the positioning protrusions.
