Abstract

A rearward facing vehicle child seat (2) comprising a displaceable seat (10), a sensor arrangement (30) and a processing unit (20). The wherein said processing unit (20) can operate said seat (10) as a response to input from said sensor arrangement (30) between at least a nursing mode in which said seat (10) can be displaced a first distance (Lto) with respect to a selected reference point, and a restricted mode in which said seat (10) is restricted from displacement along the full length of said first distance (Lto). A method is also disclosed for operating the rearward facing vehicle child seat between different modes.
