Abstract

A keyswitch assembly (100) and a manufacturing method thereof are disclosed. The keyswitch assembly (100) includes a display unit (110), a carrier (120), one or more contact pads (130), a light-shielding layer (140), and a transparent keycap (150). The display unit (110) includes one or more display regions (A1, A2, A3). The carrier (120) is for carrying the display unit (110). The contact pads (130) are on the carrier (120) and are electrically connected to the display regions (A1, A2, A3). The light-shielding layer (140) is positioned corresponding to the display regions (A1, A2, A3). The light-shielding layer (140) includes one or more transparent patterns (P1, P2, P3). The transparent patterns (P1, P2, P3) are positioned respectively corresponding to the display regions (A1, A2, A3). The transparent keycap (150) is positioned on the display unit (110).
