Abstract

A display device includes a display panel (200), a light guide plate (203) at the rear side of the display panel (200); a reflector (205) on the rear surface of the light guide plate (203); a bottom cover (230) made of a glass material (which acts as a cover for the light guide plate 203) on the rear surface of the reflector (205); and a light-emitting diode housing (220) on one part of which an LED is mounted so as to supply light to one end of the light guide plate (203), another part of the LED housing (220) being coupled to the rear surface of the bottom cover (230) at one of its ends. This arrangement makes it possible to reduce the thickness of the display device and the size of its bezel, and to prevent the display device from being warped or broken due to thermal expansion.
