Abstract

Disclosed is a liquid crystal display (LCD) device having a thin thickness. The LCD device includes a liquid crystal display panel (100) and a light source panel (300) coupled to the liquid crystal display panel (100). The light source panel (300) includes a plurality of emissive areas (EA) defined on a base plate (310), a plurality of light emitting devices (350) respectively disposed in the plurality of emissive areas (EA), and a plurality of concave portions (340) respectively accommodating the plurality of light emitting devices (350).
