Abstract

An information processing system includes a client terminal (20a) and an information processing apparatus (10) configured to cause an image forming apparatus to perform printing in accordance with print data. The client terminal (20a) includes an acquisition module (211) configured to acquire address information of the client terminal (20a) on a network; an information transmission module (212) configured to transmit identification information for identifying the client terminal (20a) and the address information to the information processing apparatus (10); and a reception module (213) configured to receive a notification transmitted from the information processing apparatus (10) based on the identification information included in the print data. The information processing apparatus (10) includes a registerer (110) configured to register the identification information and the address information; an extractor (111) configured to extract the identification information from the print data; and a notification processor (112) configured to transmit the notification in accordance with the address information.
