Abstract

A pneumatic tire having improved durability is provided. In the tire 2, in a state where no load is applied to the tire 2, when: a position at which a width of the tire 2 is at its maximum is referred to as reference position Pm 0 ; a straight line that passes through the reference position Pm 0 and extends in an axial direction is referred to as reference line M 0 ; a height from the reference position Pm 0 to an outer end of a tread 4 in a radial direction is denoted by Ht 0 ; and a reference line that is located outward of the reference line M 0 in the radial direction and extends in the axial direction and from which a distance to the reference line M 0 is 0.2 times of the height Ht 0 is denoted by L 0 , a radius of curvature Rp 0 of a circular arc Cp 0 that has a center Zp 0 on the reference line M 0 and passes through a point of intersection Pp 0 between the reference line M 0 and an outer surface of a carcass 12 and a point of intersection Pq 0 between the reference line L 0 and the outer surface of the carcass 12 is smaller than a distance Lp 0 between the center Zp 0 and an end of a first apex 32.
