Abstract

Airbag system for a vehicle includes - an airbag chute module (26) which forms a guide to direct an airbag deployment and which includes a first attachment portion to a cross-car beam (50) of the vehicle and a second attachment portion (32, 34) to an airbag receiving module, - a reinforcement body (52) including first attachment means (62, 64) adapted to attach the reinforcement body (52) to the cross-car beam (50) of the vehicle and second attachment means (54, 56) adapted to attach the reinforcement body (52) to the airbag chute module (26). The first attachment means (62, 64) of the reinforcement body (52) cover the first attachment portion of the airbag chute module (26) and the second attachment means (54, 56) of the reinforcement body (52) cover the second attachment portion (32, 34) of the airbag chute module (26).
