The present disclosure relates to a method for determining a set of tests to conduct on an executable software product. Executed by an electronic apparatus with at least one processing unit and memory, the method involves obtaining a matrix of components (CCM), a two-dimensional square matrix that represents relationships between software components in a first version of the source code. Additionally, a matrix of features (CFM) is obtained, mapping relationships between these components and the features they support. Utilizing both matrices, the method selects at least one test from a set of tests to conduct on the software product. This selection is based on modifications detected in a second version of the source code, ensuring that only relevant tests are performed, thereby optimizing the testing process. |
