Abstract
The present disclosure is directed to a method of processing a solar cell device (18). The method comprises detecting at least one inconsistency (14, 16) at a surface of a semiconductor substrate (10) having a solar cell active region formed therein. A deposition pattern is determined based on the location of the at least one inconsistency (14, 16). A material is selectively deposited on the substrate (10) according to the deposition pattern.
