Abstract

A display device (100, 200, 300, 400) comprises a display panel (140) configured to display an image. A fingerprint sensor (120) is under the display panel (120) and is configured to sense a fingerprint. An impact mitigating layer (115) partially surrounds the fingerprint sensor (120) and is configured to absorb impacts or pressure to the display device. A shielding layer is between the display panel (140) and the fingerprint sensor (120) and the impact mitigating layer (115). The shielding layer blocks at least one of heat, electromagnetic interference, or light.
