Abstract

A structural panel comprises a space frame having an outer rectangular contour. The space frame comprises two vertically running border frame rods and two horizontally running border frame rods connecting to the two vertically running border frame rods at corner nodes of the outer rectangular contour. The space frame further comprises a plurality of equidistantly spaced horizontally running space frame rods, and a plurality of equidistantly spaced vertically running space frame rods, the horizontally and vertically running space frame rods each connecting to one of the two vertically running border frame rods and two horizontally running border frame rods at connection nodes. The space frame finally comprises a plurality of diagonally running space frame rods running between diagonally neighboring interconnection nodes of the horizontally running space frame rods or the vertically running space frame rods and extending towards the connection nodes and the corner nodes at the vertically and horizontally running border frame rods.
