Abstract
The invention relates to a method of determining a magnitude of a voltage drop pulse in a network comprising at least two devices on a voltage supply line, the method comprising measuring typical operating voltages of the at least two devices in stable operating phases; determining which of the at least two devices has the lowest typical operating voltage as the determined device; determining a minimum operating voltage of at least the determined device, below which the determined device will be non-functional; and determining, from the lowest typical operating voltage, the magnitude of the voltage drop pulse that will not cause the voltage of the determined device to go below the minimum operating voltage.
