Abstract

A display device (100) according to the present disclosure includes a substrate (111) including a display area (AA) which has an irregularly shaped side and a non-display area (NA) which includes a notch area (NTA) defined by a shape of the irregularly shaped side of the display area (AA) and is disposed to enclose the display area (AA); a plurality of gate lines (GL) which are divided to be disposed in a left display area and a right display area of the display area (AA) due to the irregularly shaped side of the display area (AA); a plurality of data lines (DL) disposed in the display area (AA); and a plurality of sensing lines which is disposed in the notch area and is connected to the plurality of gate lines (GL) to transmit a scan output signal (SLS) output from the plurality of gate lines (GL). As described above, the load amount of the scan output signal (SLS) of the display area (AA) in which the irregularly shaped side is formed is detected by the plurality of sensing lines (SL) and the offset of the data signal (DS) is corrected based on the load amount to improve the image quality of the display device including an irregularly shaped side.
