Abstract

A vehicle pillar structure includes a plurality of pillar frame structure portions (50, 60), a transparent member, and a connection member. The pillar frame structure portions (50, 60) are disposed on an edge side of an upper half of a door opening (40) as a portion of a columnar pillar (30). The pillar frame structure portions (50, 60) are provided in parallel with an interval, and have upper and lower end portions fixed to a frame member (24, 30) of the vehicle side portion. The transparent member (70, 72) is formed of a transparent material and is bridged between the pillar frame structure portions (50, 60). The connection member (80, 82) is formed separately from the pillar frame structure portions (50, 60), the frame member (24, 30), and the transparent member (70, 72), and connects the pillar frame structure portions (50, 60).
