Abstract

The present invention relates to a device for reconfiguring a network comprising- an input pin for receiving a signal comprising configuration information for configuring at least said device,- a configuration handling unit (80) for detecting a configuration mode and configuring said device according to said configuration information,- an indicator for indicating whether said configuration handling unit has finished configuring said device,- an output pin for forwarding said configuration information when said indicator indicates the configuration of the device is done,- a safety handling unit (81) arranged for interconnecting said output pin and said input pin, for being operable in a safety handling mode when said indicator indicates the configuration of the device is done, and for forwarding received safety error information
