Abstract

This disclosure relates to a bracket (1) for fixating a housing (2) comprising a camera. The bracket (1) is configured to be mounted to a windscreen of a road vehicle and comprises a base plate (3) adapted to be mounted to the windscreen and a fixation arrangement (4) for securing the housing (2) comprising the camera to the bracket (1). The fixation arrangement (4) comprises a cradle (5) for receiving a locking pin (6) protruding from the housing (2) and further comprises a spring (8) for applying a pressure on the locking pin (6) forcing the locking pin (6) towards a seat (17) of the cradle (5) when the spring (8) has been inserted into at least one slot (12) of the cradle (5) such that the locking pin (6) is inserted located between the spring (8) and the cradle (5). The spring (8) has a shape of an elongated flat plate and the spring (8) comprises a through-hole (10) for securing the spring (8) to the base plate (3). The through-hole is arranged at a longitudinally distal end of the spring (8) and the fixation arrangement (4) comprises a first protrusion (11) connected to said base plate (3), wherein the first protrusion (11) is arranged to engage the through-hole (10) when the spring (8) is inserted into the slot (12) of the cradle (5).
