Abstract

Method and system for providing a second medical data record A method and a system for providing a second medical data record are disclosed. In one aspect of the invention, the method includes receiving (302) a first medical data record by a first interface (105), wherein the first medical data record is related to a patient. In another aspect of the invention, the method includes determining (303) a data record identifier from the first medical data record by a processing unit (201). In yet another aspect of the invention, the method includes identifying (304) the second medical data record within a repository based on the data record identifier by the processing unit (201), wherein second medical data record in the repository comprises the data record identifier. In a further aspect of the invention, the method includes providing (305) the second medical data record by the first interface (105).
