Abstract

Example embodiments describe a communication controller (151) configured to control joint-coordination of communication signals exchanged between an access node (100) and remote devices (140) over respective communication lines (112); communications between the access node and the remote devices alternating between first time sub-frames and second time sub-frames; the first time sub-frames corresponding to full-duplex, FDX, downstream-priority sub-frames (FDS) or to time-division duplexing, TDD, downstream sub-frames (HDS), and the second time sub-frames corresponding to FDX upstream-priority sub-frames (FUS) or to TDD upstream sub-frames (HUS); wherein the communication controller is further configured to characterize first cross-talk channels into receivers (141) of the remote devices during the first time sub-frames and to characterize second cross-talk channels into receivers (111) of the access node during the second time sub-frames, and wherein the communication controller is further configured to control the joint-coordination during the first or second time-sub-frames based on the so-characterized first and second crosstalk channels.
