Abstract

A system is provided for managing network resources in a communication network comprising a first network slice and a second network slice. Said system comprises a first slice scheduler operatively connected to said first network slice, and configured to monitor network resources associated with the first network slice, a second slice scheduler operatively connected to said second network slice, and configured to monitor network resources associated with the second network slice, and an orchestrator configured to create said first network slice and said second network slice, and to perform a deployment of instances of the first network slice and of the second network slice. Said orchestrator comprises a master scheduler operatively connected to said first slice scheduler and to said second slice scheduler, and configured to instantiate the first slice scheduler and the second slice scheduler.
