Abstract

The present invention relates to a lighting device for a motor vehicle. The lighting device comprises a first optical module (12), a second optical module (14) and a securing member (16) for supporting the optical modules (12, 14). The lighting module is provided with an optical axis adjustment means to adjust the optical axis of first optical module (12) and second optical module (14). The optical adjustment means is provided with a primary transfer cable (22), a transfer module (28), first leveling module (24a) and second leveling module (24b). The transfer module (28) is designed in such a way so as to transfer the rotational motion of the transfer cable (22) to both the leveling modules (24) simultaneously. The primary transfer cable (22) is accessible from outside of a hollow support (10) of the lighting device to initiate the optical axis adjustment of the lighting device.
