The light module (200) further comprises an analog control circuit (221) connected to the register for receiving the at least one alarm bit and for providing an analog signal (Vreg) having a voltage value representative of the at least one alarm bit on an analog output. Zusammenfassung
The present invention relates to a pivot assembly 400 for a wiper system 10. The pivot assembly 400 includes a connection assembly 410 to connect a wiper arm 200 to a pivot shaft 440 of the pivot assembly 400. The connection assembly 410 includes a through hole 422 provided on an arm head 420 and a knurled portion 442 formed on the pivot shaft 440 at predetermined location. The knurled portion 442 cooperates with the through hole 422 to form a torque transmitting joint between the arm head 420 and the pivot shaft 440. When an impact force more than a predefined force is applied on the arm head 420, the arm head 420 disengages from the knurled portion 442 to slide over the pivot shaft in downward direction, thereby absorbing the impact energy. The collapsible connection assembly 410 reduces injury to a pedestrian in case of collision. |

The present invention relates to a connection assembly 200 for a wiper system 10. The connection assembly 200 includes a pivot shaft 105 rotatably mounted in a through bore 104d of a pivot housing 104, and an arm head 103 attached to the shaft 105. The arm head 103 includes a shaft-receiving portion 400 having a hub 400b to receive and secure the shaft 105. A retaining means 300 is provided to restrict relative movement between the shaft 105 and the housing 104. When an impact force more than a predefined threshold force is applied on the arm head 103, the retaining means 300 breaks/deforms allowing arm head 103 with the shaft 105 to collapse. When the arm head 103 is collapsed, at least a portion of the hub 400b is received in the through bore 104d. The collapsible connection assembly 200 reduces injury to pedestrian in case of collision. |

The arm head 103 includes a central hub portion 303 having a hole 301 to receive at least a portion of the pivot shaft 105 and a sidewall 203 provided around the central hub portion 303. One or more connection members 304 are formed between the central hub portion 303 and the sidewall 203.
