Abstract

A vehicle lamp includes: a first laser light source (20) configured to shine a blue first laser beam (LI); second laser light source (22, 24) configured to shine a second laser beam (L2, L3) of a color other than blue; a fixed mirror (25) that reflects at least one of the first laser beam (LI) or the second laser beam (L2, L3); a moveable mirror (32) that reflects the first laser beam (LI) and the second laser beam (L2, L3); a conversion member (36) that is configured to convert the first laser beam (LI) into white light as the first laser beam (LI) passes through the conversion member (36); and a controller (40) that is configured so that the movable mirror (32) causes only the first laser beam (LI) shone from the first laser light source (20) to pass through the conversion member (36) so as to be shone in the vehicle forward direction toward a high beam area.
