Abstract

A work vehicle includes an engine (E), an openable/closable hood housing the engine (E), a detection mechanism (28) for detecting an opened/closed state of the hood, a start commanding section (17) for commanding start of the engine (E) and a control section (34) for controlling the engine (E). The control section (34) does not start the engine (E) against a command if any from the start commanding section (17), if a closed state of the hood is not detected by the detection mechanism (28).
