Abstract

Systems and methods of modifying stream information in an established streaming connection between a performance data streaming service (PDSS) producer and a PDSS consumer are described. The PDSS producer sends a request to get stream information, add a stream to the streaming connection, updated a stream to the streaming connection, or delete a stream from the streaming connection due to a reason such as addition or removal of measurement jobs, the measurement types to be reported by the stream being changed, or the measurement job being stopped. The PDSS consumer receives the request, takes the desired action, and provides a response to indicate whether the desired functionality has been carried out, identifying the streams affected.
