Abstract
A measurement system for measuring an angular error introduced by a cover (32) for a radar system is provided. The measurement system comprises at least one transmit antenna (30), a receive array (31), and a processing unit (33) connected to the receive array (31). In this context, the at least one transmit antenna (30) is configured to transmit a radio frequency signal. In addition to this, the receive array (31) is configured to receive the corresponding signal propagated through the cover (32) or a respective device under test. Furthermore, the processing unit (33) is configured to measure the corresponding complex transmission coefficients of the respective received signal over various positions in the receive array (31) and to compare the corresponding measurement results to at least one reference measurement.
