Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a device for the analysis of textiles, wherein the device (1) comprises at least one control unit (9), at least one imaging unit (7) and at least one evaluation unit (9), wherein the device (1) further has or provides at least one supply section for supplying a textile (2) into an imaging section (6), wherein at least one image of the textile (2) is generable by means of the imaging unit (7) if the textile (2) is in the imaging section (6), wherein at least one textile characteristic and/or at least defect and/or at least one defect characteristic is determinable by means of the evaluation unit (9) based on the at least one image, wherein the device (1) comprises at least one position detection unit (10) for detecting a position of the textile (2) in the supply section and/or in the imaging section (6), wherein the image generation by the at least one imaging unit (7) is controllable by means of the control unit (9) based on the detected position.
