Abstract

The present disclosure relates to a system (1) for controlling the sizing of a rising foam emulsion (2) web travelling on a conveyor (4). The system comprising a plate arrangement (8) and an actuating arrangement (18). The plate arrangement (8) comprises at least a first (8a) and a second (8b) plate, each having a web-facing lower side (10) and an opposite upper side (12). The second plate (8b) is configured to be located downstream of the first plate (8a) with respect to the direction of travel of the foam emulsion web. The actuating arrangement (18) comprises a base portion (20) and a top portion (22). The top portion (22) is movable relative to the base portion (20) and operatively connected to the plate arrangement (8). The actuating arrangement (18) is configured to individually adjust for each plate a separating distance relative to the base portion (20), for controlling the rising of the foam emulsion web along at least a part of its travel.
