Abstract
A method for interconnecting photovoltaic cells (20, 30, 40, 50) in order to form a photovoltaic cells assembly is provided. Said method comprises the steps of providing a first photovoltaic cell (20) comprising a first surface (22a), a second surface (22b), a first edge (21a), and a second edge (21b), arranging a conductive wire (2) on the first surface of the first photovoltaic cell according to a certain pattern, and attaching the conductive wire to the first surface of the first photovoltaic cell with the aid of a first non-conductive yarn (5a) by stitching in the area of the first edge of the first photovoltaic cell according to a first stitch type.
