Abstract

The present invention provides inter alia a data traffic control device, which comprises:- a data memory (170) and a control unit (65) configured toi) execute first instructions to store, on the data memory (170), a first data traffic in a first transmission queue (171), a second data traffic in a second transmission queue (172) and third data traffic in a third transmission queue (173), wherein different priorities are assigned to the first, second and third transmission queue,ii) execute second instructions stored on the residential router (60) to read out the first data traffic, the second data traffic and the third data traffic according to the priority assigned to the first transmission queue (171), the second transmission queue (172) and the third transmission queue (173), andiii) to execute third instructions to transmit, via a first access interface (62) and an access network (90), the first data traffic, the second data traffic and the third data traffic in the order as read out.
