Abstract

A method for a protected sharing of data saved in a hearing system (10), which comprises at least a hearing device (12, 14) used by a hearing device user (20), with a third party device (24) is presented. The method comprises: storing (S101) a definition of a first trusted party and (S102) of a second trusted party in the hearing system (10); providing (S121) a sharing request for the data to be shared to a device (16) of the first trusted party and (S122) to a device (28) of the second trusted party; generating (S141) a first sharing approval by the device (16) of the first trusted party and (S142) a second sharing approval by the device (28) of the second trusted party; and sharing (S162, S163) the data with the third party device (24) upon generation of the first and the second sharing approval.
