Abstract
Inter-alia, a method is disclosed comprising: receiving at least one symbol in a transmission slot of a sidelink, SL, resource pool, wherein the at least one symbol is received in an active SL discontinuous reception, DRX, period of the apparatus; checking the at least one symbol for an indication indicating if SL data is expected to be received by the apparatus in the active SL DRX period and possibly one or more subsequent active SL DRX periods of the apparatus; and based, at least in part, on the checking: entering an inactive state in the active SL DRX period and possibly the one or more subsequent active SL DRX periods, or monitoring the SL resource pool for SL data reception in the active SL DRX period and possibly the one or more subsequent active SL DRX periods. It is further disclosed an according apparatus, computer program and system.
