Abstract

The present invention relates to a computing device comprising a non-volatile memory, referred to as first memory, and another memory referred to as second memory, the first memory storing a reference value relating to a content of the second memory, the second memory storing a current content identifier representative of current data of the second memory. The computing device may comprise a processing unit configured for updating data of the first memory and/or data of the second memory, and for setting an update flag of the second memory to a first flag value or to a second flag value, wherein the first flag value indicates that the data of the second memory has been updated, and the second flag value indicates that the reference value of the first memory has been updated.
