Abstract
The present invention provides a lighting system (1) for providing light to an area. The system (1) comprises: at least one LED light source (2), LED-LS, configured to emit white light, and a control unit (3) configured to control a light emission of the at least one LED-LS (2). The control unit (3) is configured to control the light emission of the at least one LED-LS (2) based on moisture information on a moisture in the area such that in case the moisture information fulfills a condition regarding the moisture in the area, the control unit (3) controls the at least one LED-LS (2) to emit only light of a spectrum comprising a reflection probability of light-reflection on water drops smaller than a probability threshold. The present invention further provides a method for providing light to an area.
