Abstract

A capacitor structure (500) enhanced for high-voltage applications is disclosed. The structure comprises a silicon substrate (102) having a trench structure formed therein; a dielectric (104) disposed over a surface of the trench structure, conformal to said surface of the trench structure; and a filling layer (502, 504, 506) disposed over the dielectric layer and into the trench structure, the filling layer comprising a conductive layer (502, 506) and a polymer layer (504) .
