Abstract

Obj ect:The purpose is to provide a device effective in detecting cable deterioration with a simpler configuration.Resolution means:A cable deterioration diagnosis device (100) is a device configured to diagnose deterioration of a cable (70) having a plurality of electrical wires including one or more signal wires (72) configured to transmit signals between a first device (2) and a second device (3), and includes a test signal output unit (111) configured to output a wave-like test signal to a test signal transmitting wire (73) independent of the one or more signal wires (72) among the plurality of electrical wires, a test signal extraction unit (112) configured to extract a received test signal corresponding to the test signal from a signal propagated in a test signal receiving wire (74) independent of the one or more signal wires (72) and the test signal transmitting wire (73) among the plurality of electrical wires, and a deterioration detection unit (113) configured to detect the deterioration of the cable (70) based on the test signal and the received test signal.
