Abstract

Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a sensing node, a sensing network, an intelligent building control system and an associated method. The sensing node includes: a housing adapted to be installed on a carrier of a building space; an object detection means received in the housing and configured to provide object detection data of objects in a sensing area; and a position determining means received in the housing and configured to provide positioning data of the sensing node in the building space; wherein the object detection data are adapted to be fused with the positioning data to provide characterized data, the characterized data providing a characterization of the object detection data in the building space. According to the present disclosure, the collaborative interactions among the sensing node, the electrical apparatuses and the building space can be enhanced, with improved the intelligent level of the intelligent building control system.
