Abstract
A polyethylene composition comprising a base resin comprising (A) 5 to 50 wt.-% of a polyethylene homo- or copolymer fraction with respect to the total weight of the polyethylene having a density determined according to ISO 1183-1:2004 (method A) of 955 to 980 kg/m<3> and a MFR<2> determined according to ISO 1133 at 190 °C and a load of 2.16 kg of 50 to 600 g/10 min; (B) 5 to 50 wt.-% of a polyethylene homo- or copolymer fraction with respect to the total weight of the polyethylene having a density determined according to ISO 1183-1:2004 (method A) of 955 to 980 kg/m<3> and a MFR<2> determined according to ISO 1133 at 190 °C and a load of 2.16 kg of 100 to 2000 g/10 min; (C) 45 to 70 wt.-% of a homo- or copolymer fraction with respect to the total weight of the polyethylene having a density determined according to ISO 1183-1:2004 (method A) of 943 to 970 kg/m<3> and a MFR<2> determined according to ISO 1133 at 190 °C and a load of 2.16 kg of 0.0001 to 1.0 g/10 min; wherein the average molecular weight of the base resin (fraction A+B+C) is higher than the average molecular weight of fraction (A) and higher than the average molecular weight of the combination of fractions (A+B); wherein the average molecular weight of the combination of fractions (A+B) is higher than the average molecular weight of fraction (B); and wherein the sum of the amounts of fraction (A), fraction (B) and fraction (C) is 100 wt.-% with respect to the total weight of the base resin.
