Abstract

A powder replenisher (1) includes a pressure adjuster (10) that increases and decreases operating pressure applied to a variable capacity portion (5a). A controller (100) performs a precise replenishing mode in which, after the controller (100) determines that a powder replenishment container (7) is replenished with powder in a predetermined amount, while the controller (100) controls a powder measuring instrument (9) to measure an amount of the powder inside the powder replenishment container (7), the controller (100) controls the pressure adjuster (10) to replenish the powder replenishment container (7) with the powder in a target amount. The controller (100) controls the pressure adjuster (10) to replenish the powder replenishment container (7) with the powder while the controller (100) controls the pressure adjuster (10) based on the operating pressure detected by an operating pressure detector (14) in the precise replenishing mode.
