Abstract

A pivot mechanism (10) including a first pivot member (20) including a support (30) extending along an axis (A-A) between a first end (32) and a second end (34), a first pivot element (50), and a second pivot element (60), a second pivot member (70) configured to interact with the first pivot member, at least a portion of the second pivot member being configured to apply a force on the first pivot element and the second pivot element, wherein the first pivot element and the second pivot element are configured to receive a force applied by the second pivot member and each of the first pivot element and the second pivot element are configured to flex in response to receiving the force applied by the second pivot member.
