Abstract

[Problem] An airflow generation system and a work machine in which a passenger is less likely to block an airflow is provided. [Solution] The airflow generation system 1 is employed in a work machine having a passenger section 2 including a passenger seat 21 and a wall portion 22, and includes an airflow generator and an air outlet 11. The airflow generator generates an airflow. The air outlet 11 is disposed at a position facing the passenger section 2, and blows an airflow into the passenger section 2. When a direction in which the passenger seat 21 faces the wall portion 22 is determined as a first direction and a direction orthogonal to the first direction in a plan view is determined as a second direction, the air outlet 11 is disposed on one side in the second direction when viewed from the passenger seat 21 to allow the airflow to pass through a gap space formed between the passenger seat 21 and the wall portion 22.
